engineering and manufacturing, quality
control and quality engineering are
involved in developing systems to ensure
products or services are designed and
produced to meet or exceed customer
requirements. These systems are often
developed in conjunction with other
businesses and engineering disciplines
using a cross-functional approach.
Quality Control comprises of quality
assurance, testing, and statistical
control.
Specific institutes are unavailable to
provide a specific course on quality
control. It is considered as one of the
skill sets to be acquired by any
candidate when he/she steps into the
corporate world. Candidates with a
minimum experience of one year in Total
Quality Management or Kaizen are
considered for the post of a Quality
Control Inspector.
